SPECIFIC™ FKW Kidney Support contains a high level of EPA and DHA derived from fish oil. Reduced but biologically valuable protein content helps lower azotemia in cats with kidney failure and reduces the risk of hyperammonemia in liver disease cases.
Lower sodium levels help prevent fluid retention, which is especially important for cats suffering from kidney, liver, or heart diseases. Alkaline urine pH combined with limited protein helps prevent oxalate, cystine, and urate crystal formation.
